Day 1

Arrive Delhi

Arrival at Delhi International Airport for Best India Nepal tour. Clear immigration and visa formalities, collect your baggage and Lotus India Holidays representative will meet you with a placard. Transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight. (No Meals)

Day 2

Delhi

After breakfast full-day city tour of Delhi, tour starts with Old Delhi drive past of Red Fort. Visit the Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India. Later take a Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visits New Delhi, which will include photo stop at Parliament HouseIndia Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, one of the best examples of a Mughal Garden Tomb.  Later visit Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 3

Delhi – Jaipur

Morning after breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Jaipur. Check in at a hotel on arrival at Jaipur. Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing city tour of Jaipur. Visit the famous City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Later proceed to the famous Chokhi Dani- a Village Theme Restaurant – to enjoy your dinner and get a first-hand experience of the village life of Rajasthan. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 4

Jaipur - Agra

Morning after breakfast, enjoy a morning excursion to the famous Amber Fort. Enjoy an elephant ride up to the Fort. Then travel to Agra. En-route visit to Abhaneri Step Well. This is oldest monument in Rajasthan. This step was well built in 9th CE. Later visit the historical town of Fatehpur Sikri. Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world is the main attraction of the town. Later proceed to Agra On arrival check in hotel. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 5

Agra

Start your day by watching the Sun rising above the horizon towards the dome of the Taj Mahal. Later back to hotel. After breakfast Full day a of sightseeing in Agra. Visit the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), probably the most beautiful monument in the world. Taj Mahal, a symbol of love and romance, was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jehan in the loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Later in the day visit the magnificent and majestic Agra Fort. After Agra Fort we visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah. This building is also called the Baby Taj because its interiors are decorated in a manner similar to the Taj Mahal and some consider its decorations to be even better than the designs on the walls of the Taj Mahal. Day 6

Agra – Gwalior – Orchha

Morning after breakfast travel to Gwalior, proceed for sightseeing tour of Gwalior known for its spectacular hilltop citadel. Within walls lie Jain statues, Rajput Palaces, Hindu temples and a Victorian school. Later travel to Orchha, a historical site with magnificent temples and monuments. Some of the palaces were decorated with painted murals which represent the finest flowering of the Bundela school of painting. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 7

Orchha – Khajuraho

Morning after breakfast travel to Khajuraho. Khajuraho- the legendary temples of Khajuraho are an incomparable experience. Acknowledged as one of the world’s artistic wonders, these temples dedicated to the Hindu pantheon of Gods are covered in carvings that are a paean to life and love. Built within a short span of a hundred years by the Chandela Rajputs, the 10th century temples lay forgotten until they were discovered in the present century. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 8

Khajuraho

Morning after breakfast Full day sightseeing in Khajuraho. Khajuraho famous for the legendary temples of Khajuraho built in the 9th and the 10th century. Acknowledged as one of the world’s artistic wonders. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 9

Khajuraho – Varanasi

Morning after breakfast travel to Varanasi and check in Hotel and overnight stay in Hotel. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 10

Varanasi

Early morning sunrise boat ride on river Ganges. After breakfast, proceed for morning city tour of Varanasi visiting various temples. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath visiting Sarnath museum, having Buddhist relics and antiques (Museum is closed on Friday). Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 11

Varanasi – Kushinagar

Travel to Kushinagar. On arrival check-in at hotel. The followers of Buddhism and Buddhist Sector in India, especially from Asian countries, wish to visit this place at least once in their lifetime. Visit Mahaparinirvana Temple which houses the “Dying Buddha” & Nirvana Chaitya. Visit Ramabhar Stupa where Buddha’s ashes were cremated. Also visit the Myanmar Temple. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 12

Kushinagar – Lumbini

Travel to Lumbini, a UNESCO World Heritage Site & the birth place of Lord Buddha. On arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit Lumbini Park where the Ashoka pillar carries the inscription. Visit the Mayadevi temple devoted to the mother of Lord Buddha. Also, visit China temple which is a beautiful pagoda-style temple with many prayer and meditation cells. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 13

Lumbini – Chitwan National Park

Morning after breakfast travel to Chitwan National Park. Royal Chitwan National Park is Nepal’s first and most famous national park is situated in the Chitwan Doon or the lowlands of the inner Terai. A fifth of the park is made up of the floodplains of the Narayani, Rapti and Reu Rivers and is covered by dense tall Elephant grass interspersed with riverine forests of silk cotton (Kapok), Acacia and Sisam trees. Day 14

Chitwan National Park – Pokhara

Kathmandu

Morning after breakfast, Full day sightseeing in the city. Visit the famous Swambhunath and Patan Durbar Square. We will proceed to Dhulikhel. Check in at resort on arrival at Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is a magnificent place to spend the night and awaken to the sun rising across the wide Himalayan range. Kathmandu – Delhi

Morning after breakfast travel to Kathmandu Airport and transfer to airport to board a flight to Delhi. On your arrival in Delhi, you will be received by our executives at International Airport.
