Welcome to Lotus India Holidays! We are committed to providing exceptional travel experiences across India. By booking a tour with us or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your reservation.

1. Booking & Payment Policy

1.1 Booking Confirmation

  • Bookings can be made through our official website www.lotusindiaholidays.com, via email, phone, or authorized travel agents.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the initial payment and confirmation email from our team.

1.2 Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required to secure the booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before the tour departure date.
  • For last-minute bookings (within 30 days of departure), full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Payments can be made via Credit/Debit Card, Bank Transfer, UPI, or PayPal (processing fees may apply).

1.3 Pricing & Currency

  • All prices are quoted in INR/USD and are subject to change due to fluctuations in exchange rates, fuel surcharges, government taxes, or other factors beyond our control.
  • Prices do not include foreign transaction fees or bank charges, which must be borne by the traveler.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

2.1 Cancellation by Lotus India Holidays

We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, etc.)
  • Government regulations or travel restrictions
  • Insufficient bookings for group tours
  • Political instability or security concerns
In such cases, we will offer:
  • A full refund of the amount paid, OR
  • An alternative tour option of equal value, based on traveler preference.

2.2 Refund Process

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 10-15 business days via the original payment method.
  • Any non-refundable expenses already incurred (such as hotel bookings or airline tickets) may be deducted from the refund amount.

3. Travel Documents & Traveler Responsibilities

3.1 Passport & Visa Requirements

  • It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and obtain the necessary visa and permits for their trip.
  • We are not responsible for any denied entry due to incorrect or incomplete travel documentation.

3.2 Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Medical emergencies & hospitalization
  • Trip cancellations or delays
  • Loss or theft of baggage/personal belongings
  • Any unforeseen circumstances during travel

3.3 Health & Safety

  • Travelers must ensure they meet vaccination and health requirements for their destination.
  • Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
  • We are not liable for health issues arising during the trip.

4. Tour Inclusions & Exclusions

4.1 What’s Included in the Tour Package?

✅ Hotel accommodation as per the itinerary
✅ Daily breakfast
✅ All airport transfers & transportation in air-conditioned vehicles
✅ Sightseeing tours with an English-speaking guide
✅ Monument entry fees (where specified)
✅ Assistance during the tour for any travel needs

4.2 What’s NOT Included?

❌ International & domestic flights
❌ Visa fees & travel insurance
❌ Meals not mentioned in the itinerary
❌ Personal expenses (shopping, tips, laundry, phone calls, etc.)
❌ Optional activities & experiences outside the itinerary
❌ Any increase in government taxes or entrance fees after booking

5. Changes & Amendments

5.1 Changes by Traveler

  • Travelers may request changes to their itinerary at least 15 days before departure, subject to availability.
  • Additional costs may apply based on revised hotel rates, flight tickets, or service fees.

5.2 Changes by Lotus India Holidays

  • We reserve the right to modify the itinerary due to weather conditions, road closures, strikes, or other unavoidable circumstances.
  • In such cases, alternative arrangements of equal or higher value will be provided.

6. Liability & Limitations

  • Lotus India Holidays acts as an intermediary between travelers and third-party service providers, including hotels, transport providers, and tour operators.
  • We are not liable for delays, cancellations, accidents, or losses due to third-party services.
  • In case of force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, war, or government-imposed travel restrictions), we will not be responsible for refunds beyond what is recoverable from service providers.
  • We recommend travelers take appropriate travel insurance to cover unexpected events.

7. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • Any complaints during the tour should be reported immediately to our on-ground team for prompt resolution.
  • If the issue remains unresolved, travelers can submit a formal complaint via email within 7 days after the tour ends.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We are committed to protecting your personal information and do not share your data with third parties, except for booking-related purposes.
