Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Delhi

Arrival at Delhi international airport. Clear immigration and visa formalities, collect your baggage and Lotus India Holidays representative will meet you with a placard. Transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight. (No Meals)

Day 2

Delhi

After breakfast full day city tour of Delhi, tour starts with Old Delhi drive past of Red Fort. Visit the Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India. Later take a Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk . Afternoon visit New Delhi, which will include photo stop at- Parliament HouseIndia Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, one of the best examples of a Mughal Garden Tomb.  Later visit Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 3

Delhi – Chandigarh

Morning after breakfast travel to Chandigarh. On arrival check in Hotel, and Sightseeing. Chandigarh, the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, was designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. His buildings include the Capitol Complex with its High Court, Secretariat and Legislative Assembly, as well as the giant Open Hand Monument. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 4

Chandigarh – Shimla

Morning after Breakfast travel to Shimla. On the way visit Pinjore Garden,Timber Trail. On arrival check in hotel. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 5

Shimla

Morning after breakfast, Full day excursion to Kufri-one of the finest ski slopes, Chini Bungalow, Naldhera nine-hole golf course. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri, after lunch sightseeing of various places in and around. Shimla mosques built in (1830), Vice regal Lodge built in (1885), Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre– the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1887), The Grindlays Bank (1912)- the world wide bank started by Robert Melville Grindlay, The Scandal Point and The Famous Shopping Plaza of the North the Mall. Day 6

Shimla – Sarahan

Morning after breakfast travel to Sarahan. Sarahan is a beautifully located Himalayan township amid mountains with Shrikhand Mahadev Peak looming as a backdrop at 5155m. Later visit Bhimkali Temple for a rare combination of Buddhist and Hindu architecture. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 7

Sarahan – Kalpa

Morning after breakfast travel to Kalpa (2960 m) – a heritage village, beautiful and main village of Kinnaur across the river faces the Majesty Jorkanden (6473 m) and Mont Kinnaur Kailash (6050 m). Kinnar Kailash is regarded as the summer abode of Lord Shiva and 79 feet high rock formation by its side resembles a Shivalinga. It’s an hour drive from Reckong Peo (Distt. HQ of Kinnaur). Overnight stay in Hotel / Camp. (Breakfast)

Day 8

Kalpa City

Morning after breakfast Full Day Free and City Sightseeing. Overnight stay in Hotel / Camp. (Breakfast)

Kalpa Trekking

Day 10

Kalpa – Nako

Morning After breakfast travel to Nako, Nako Lake is 3662 meters above the sea level. The district of Kinnaur in which Nako Lake is situated is a picturesque landscape, perfect for a visit during the summer season to escape the warm blasnako-lakets. Hemmed by Willow Trees and Poplar Trees, Nako Lake offers not only a soothing view to the nature lover, but also a serene resort to the religiously inclined. Willows and Poplars thrive best in the climate of Himachal Pradesh. Located nearby are the renowned Buddhist Temples and Monasteries. Overnight stay in Hotel / Camp. (Breakfast)

Day 11

Nako – Tabo

Morning after breakfast drive to Tabo (3050M). a small village famous for its 10th century old Buddhist unassuming monastery said to have been established as a seat of learning by Padmasambhava, the profounder of Tantric Buddhism. Overnight stay in tents at Tabo. (Breakfast)

Day 12

Tabo – Kaza

Morning after breakfast drive to Kaza (3660). Enroute you will visit to Dhankar, a repository of Buddhist scripture in Boti Script. Pin valley (National Park) enrouts through Kungri Gompa, Sagnam Village. Kaza serves as the base for excursions to the nearby Ki Monastery and Gompa at Kibber (heights permanent inhabited village). It times permitting one can visit the Hikkim, Langia and Kosmic Monasteries. Overnight in camp. (Breakfast)

Day 13

Kaza

Morning after breakfast full day sightseeing Kibber Monasteries. Kibber (4165m) is the highest altitude inhabited. Overnight at tent or guest house. (Breakfast)

Day 14

Kaza – Losar

Morning after breakfast travel to Losar – Kunjam La (4950 m) – 70 Km. from Kaza, a road takes off along the upstream course of river Chandra. The crest presents a majestic panorama of peeks. 6 Km. tracking from the Kunjam pass is Chander Tal Lake. Overnight camping in Losar. (Breakfast)

Day 15

Losar – Keylong

Morning after breakfast travel to Keylong (3350 m) – Enroute you will vivit to e Gampas  DamphugChokurShasin and Guru Ghantal. LA haul has 29 Buddhist Monasteries. The Patten Valley – after crossing the Bhaga river, on the Keylong road, Udaipur runs along the right bank of Chenab. Triloki Nathtemple delegated to Lord Shiva in Pagoda Style. Udaipur an ancient temple of Goddess Durga named Mrikula Devi. Overnight camping / Guest House. (Breakfast)

Day 16

Keylong – Sarchu

Morning after breakfast travel from Keylong. Visit Kardang Monastery in the morning at Keylong. On the way of Sarchu Excursion of very old museum at Jispa. On arrive Sarchu in the evening over Baralacha Pass. Arrival Check in to the camp. Overnight in the camp. (Breakfast)

Day 17

Sarchu – Leh

Morning after breakfast travel to Leh. On the way Second Highest Pass of the World (Tanglang La Pass).  On arrival check in to the Hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 18

Leh – Thiksey – Leh

Morning after travel to Thiksey Monastery, an outstanding specimen of Ladakhi architecture, is a glorious Buddhist monastery located nearby Leh in Jammu and Kashmir. Thiksey Monastery is the part of Gelukpa order in Buddhism and is beautifully located in the picturesque top of a hillock. It encloses numerous stupas, Thangkas, statues, swords, wonderful wall paintings and a large pillar carved with Buddha ideas and preaching, all in a mammoth 12 storied building complex. A marvellous Buddha statue in the seated position is adorning the main prayer hall. Thiksey Festival, a major attraction for tourists and Buddhist devotees, is conducted here with splendour and much pomp. And back to Leh And check in hotel. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 19

Leh

Morning after breakfast at hotel, we will be going for the sightseeing tour to Hall of FameShanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Evening free for leisure and acclimatization. Later return back to the hotel. Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 20

Leh – Delhi

Early Morning after breakfast transfer to Leh airport and catch Delhi Flight. on arrival check in at hotel after noon free for own activity. overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 21

Delhi – Back Home

Morning after breakfast transfer to Delhi Airport to board flight to onward your destination. (Breakfast)
