  • Day 1 : Arrive ChennaiArrival at Chennai International airport. Clear immigration and visa formalities, collect your baggage and Lotus India Holidays representative will meet you with a placard. Transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight. (No Meals)
  • Day 2 : chennaiMorning sightseeing, visit to Fort St. George, this is the first British fort built in India, constructed in 1639. Visit the Fort Museum which exhibits the items of the British rule. In addition, visit the Government Museum, which houses an extensive collection of archeological and numismatic artifacts. Also visit the busy and vibrant Kapaleeshwarar Temple which is the oldest place of worship in Chennai built for the god Shiva. Also enjoy some time at Marina Beach exploring the local life and people. Overnight. (Breakfast)
  • Day 3 : Chennai – MahabalipuramMorning visit Kanchipuram while travelling from Chennai to Mahabalipuram. The city is famous for its silk weavers, settled around 400 years ago and has given it an enviable reputation. Later proceed to Mahabalipuram. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight. (Breakfast)
  • Day 4 : MahabalipuramMorning sightseeing tour, where the Pallavas have created many marvellous monuments with sculptural panels, caves, monolithic Raths (Chariot) and Temples. The majestic Mahabalipuram invokes a certain kind of mystery, with its sculptural extravaganza depicting strong artistic temperament of the Pallava rulers. Overnight. (Breakfast)
  • Day 5 : Mahabalipuram – PondicherryMorning travel to Pondicherry. This city was ruled by French for about 281 years before independence, and a profound influence of Southern France is still very prominent.   • Day 6 : PondicherryMorning begin your exploration of Pondicherry in the heritage section of the city – the French Quarter. Walk through streets with names like Rue Romain Rolland, Suffren and Dumas. Start with Promenade Beach and Rocky Beach. The main buildings which we will be covering will be French War Memorial, Aurobindo Ashram & Auroville. Overnight. (Breakfast)
  • Day 7 : Pondicherry – TanjavurMorning travel to Thanjavur, en-route visit Chidambaram known for its beautiful temple dedicated to the Lord Nataraja – Lord Shiva in the form of a Cosmic Dancer. Visit the GangaiKonda Cholapuram for its rich, beautiful and intricately carved Chola style sculptures on the walls and roofs, 42 in number. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight. (Breakfast)
  • Day 8 : TanjavurMorning visit to Brahadeewarar temple, called the Big Temple. The 64. 8 Mt. tall vimanam  is testimony to the engineering skill of the Cholas. Then after we proceed for visit to palace which just 1km distance from Big Temple and dates back to 14th century AD. It is a fascinating building with huge corridors, spacious halls, decorated rooms, tall observation towers, beautiful stucco works, wonderful fresco painted walls and ceilings, an underground tunnel and intricate carvings.   • Day 9 : Tanjavur – Trichy – MaduraiMorning travel to Madurai. Enroute visit the historical city of (Trichy) Tiruchirappalli, situated on the banks of the Cauvery River. Visit Rock Fort; a spectacular landmark of Trichy perched on a massive rock .Further climb to a Shiva temple, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple; famous for its superb sculpture, the 21 impressive gopurams and its rich collection of temple jewellery and Sri Jambukeshwara TempleOn arrival check in at hotel.   • Day 10 : MaduraiThis morning visit the magnificent Meenakshi Temple and experience stunning architecture as the sculpted pillars tell the story of the beautiful princess of Madurai and her marriage to Lord Shiva. Overnight. (Breakfast)

  • Day 11 : Madurai – MunnarTravel to Munnar, a place to enjoy scenic beauty and marvellous waterfalls. The town stands at a confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Famous for its tea gardens and summer resort of the erstwhile British administration in South India. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight. (Breakfast)
  • Day 12 : MunnarMorning walk through the enchanting tea estates and enjoy the tranquillity it provides while watching women’s plucking the tea leaves at the tea estates. We’ll also visit Tea Processing Factory & Museum. The museum puts light on the important fact and figures about the growth of the tea plantations in Munnar. Overnight. (Breakfast)
  • Day 13 : Munnar - ThekkadyMorning travel from tea estates to the valley of spices, Thekkady. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed to view the rare species of plantations, animals and visit a spice plantation growing cardamom, pepper, coffee, and tea estate. Overnight. (Breakfast)
  • Day 14 : ThekkadyMorning proceed for a boat cruise on the Lake. Explore the wildlife sanctuary on the boat, the sanctuary center piece the man-made Periyar Lake, running through the forests of the Western Ghats in Kerala and is a home to Tiger , bison, wild boar, sambar, monkeys, wild elephant, antelopes and a wide variety of birds.
